US Pro Engineering offers site inspections and foundation engineering certifications for the manufactured and modular homes housing industry. If you have an attached porch, attached exterior deck, or an addition to the modular home, we can inspect and certify the foundations and also the custom installed and built framing. 

SITE INSPECTIONS AND ENGINEER FOUNDATION CERTIFICATION

We offer on-site inspections and engineering foundation certifications for the manufactured and modular home industry. Our certifications ensure foundations meet HUD, FHA, VA, and conventional lending guidelines.

FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans provide favorable terms and low down payments, making home-ownership more accessible. These programs require structures and foundations to be built to strict standards capable of withstanding anticipated storm forces while remaining stable and safe.

As an FHA-certified engineering firm, we can furnish the necessary certification to guarantee that the mobile or manufactured home complies with the foundation prerequisites. We confirm that the manufactured home aligns with the specifications outlined in HUD 7584 and the "Permanent Foundations Guide for Manufactured Housing HUD-007487," September 1996 Edition, which includes paragraph 101-2 and HUD Handbook 4930.3.

Stringent quality control measures are implemented during the construction process of your manufactured, modular, or mobile home at the factory. We ensure that the foundation installation adheres to all HUD standards.

Upon completion of the factory construction and meeting all HUD construction criteria, the manufactured home is provided with a unique number plate. This number serves as a record to verify that the structure has successfully passed HUD's quality control assessments.

Damaged mobile manufactured homes structural repairs and retrofit with engineering design

Sometimes manufactured homes are damaged by fire, water, roof leaks, weathering deterioration, and old age. Some foundation piers and framing members can be damaged. 

We provide structural engineering foundation certificates, and we can perform structural engineering design repairs, reinforcement, and retrofit for the manufactured (mobile) housing. We can design a retrofit and repair existing non-compliant mobile home foundation. We can also provide a custom foundation engineering design for the installation of new manufactured home.
